How to Easily Save your Instagram Profile Picture

Have you ever wanted to save your profile picture from Instagram? It’s actually quite easy, and in this blog post, I’ll show you how to do it in just a few steps. Whether you want to use the image as a wallpaper on your desktop or smartphone, or just need it for a project, saving an Instagram profile picture is easier than ever. Let’s get started.

Step 1: Open Your Profile Page on Instagram

First, open the app and go to your profile page by clicking the little person icon at the bottom right of the screen. Once there, click on your profile picture. You will then be taken to a page where you can view a larger version of your profile picture.

Step 2: Press and Hold Your Profile Picture

Once on the page with your profile picture, press and hold down on the image until a menu pops up. There are several options here; you want to select “Save Image” from this menu if available. If not available, select “Copy Link” instead (which will copy the link of your profile photo).

Step 3: Go To Your Photo Gallery

Now that you have saved or copied the link of your profile photo, go back to your main gallery in Instagram (the one with all of your photos) and select “Gallery” from the top right corner of the screen. Here you should find an album titled “Instagram Photos Saved” which contains all of the images that were previously saved or copied via links through Instagram. If not visible right away, try refreshing the screen or restarting your phone/device.

Step 4: Access Your Profile Picture in Your Photo Gallery

Once in this album titled “Instagram Photos Saved” simply scroll down until you find your profile picture included within it - there should only be one image inside it so no need to look further than that! Clicking on this image will open up its full-sized version where you can easily download it directly into either Dropbox or Google Photos for safekeeping if desired! Simply click “Download” at the top right corner of this screen before doing so though!
