tired of the annoying winrar pop-up? do you want to get rid of the annoying winrar pop-up? wonder no more because in this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to activate winrar without buying the product (winrar).

step 1 - download winrar
you must first download winrar. in order for you to do that, you go to rarlab's website here and then download winrar. there are many versions of winrar built for different OSes so pick one that is suitable for your OS. for me, I will pick the standard windows installer since I'm running windows.
step 2 - install winrar
once you have downloaded winrar, it's time for you to install winrar. double-click the winrar installer to install it.
step 3 - create a winrar activation file
this step might seem complicated but it is quite simple actually. copy-paste the activation codes right here:

step 3 - save the activation file as "rarreg.key"
after you have pasted your winrar's activation code into your text editor, safe it as "rarreg.key" (without the quotes)
note: do NOT name the activation file anything but "rarreg.key"
step 4 - move the activation file to winrar's installation directory
after you have created your winrar activation file, you move the activation file to winrar's installation directory (or in this case, winrar's installation folder). in order for you to go to winrar's installation directory you must first search the program on your windows search bar ─►click "open file location" on the search result ─► right-click the winrar's program shortcut and click "open file location" on the context menu.
after you have done all of that, you can move winrar's activation file into winrar's installation directory.
