it has become very clear that the quality of youtube is starting to deteriorate. every old youtube user complained about this. as an old youtube user who has been using youtube since the late 2000s to early 2010s, I myself have something to complain about, just like others on youtube. first, let's talk bout the more obvious stuff and that is the coppa. coppa has been a burden to YouTubers, not only their rules are stupid but their stupidity also damages the entire platform.
basically the rules that coppa set for youtube is just incredible. you can't make content for kids, you also can't make content for adults. if you can't make content for both ages then what is the content we are allowed to make then?. get this if you create content for kids you will get screwed even harder than the ones that are making content for adults. basically, if you create content for a kid then you can say bye-bye to your video's comment section AND the youtube mini player. the freaking mini player on youtube is disabled just because the video was set for kids which is stupid since it doesn't even affect virtually anything.
with so many YouTubers quitting youtube you do expect youtube to improve right? well..... nope. youtube as already on a downward spiral since the beginning of 2013 just like 4chan, tumblr, devianart, and basically every single living social media out there. instead of listening to the community's complaint, youtube decided that it would be best if they keep their ears and mouth shut.
here I will be listing all the things that youtube screwed up. now keep in mind that not all of the things I listed is 100% correct, some of them have already been fixed by youtube themselves. here's the list:

unfair demonetization
lackluster video
pedophilic content
misleading
here's a little known fact about youtube. youtube wasn't always like this. in fact youtube was once a tolerant platform, it gives you freedom of how you present your videos. people on the youtube community used to create content just for their channel's purpose but now the youtube community saw hundreds if not thousands of clickbait videos that are just pure cringe. the golden age of the internet started in 2003 then it ended in 2007 and if you are lucky enough to be born in the late '90s then you can experience this glory. the aftermath of the golden age lasted for only 6 years and that itself is not enough.
youtube has its own golden age but guess what? it was already ended. youtube CEO should be replaced. Susan, the CEO of youtube should be replaced by a much more intelligent person, one that can manage a website more properly than her stupid ass.
