starcraft is a phenomenal strategy game. it dominated the strategy game landscape and possibly the whole game landscape in the 90s. so many people had heard of it and played it to death. even though the game is old, it's still the best classic and still fun to play even to this day. good news! blizzard officially made starcraft available for free (they already done this years ago). now in this blog post, I will show you how to download starcraft
step 1 - download starcraft
there are multiple sources when it comes to downloading old games like starcraft. but for this tutorial, we are going to focus on just one download source because I want things to be much simpler. you can download starcraft by clicking the download button bellow
step 2 - extract the file archive
after you've downloaded starcraft, extract it. use an archive extracting software like WinRAR. because the file comes in the form of a .rar file, you need software for extracting it because windows can only extract .zip files. you can download WinRAR by clicking the download button bellow
final step, step 3 - play the game
go to the extracted archive and run starcraft.exe. you should be able to play the game with ease
