If you played minecraft for a long time then you’ll probably heard a thing called “minecraft maps”. Now what is minecraft maps? minecraft maps is a world folder. Say I want to create a map in minecraft. To do that, all I need is to create new world ➡ construct the building of my newly created minecraft world ➡ save that world ➡ make a backup of that world ➡ and publish it online. So anyways, enough with the chit chat, let’s get started shall we.
Step 1: download your minecraft map
Search your minecraft map on Google or your preffered search engine
Step 2: unzip your minecraft map
When you download a minecraft maps, they usually come in a form of a zip file. Extract the zip file
Step 3: copy your minecraft map folder into the minecraft saves folder
Open file explorer and copy this directory: %appdata%\.Minecraft\saves
Into the file explorer address bar. after that, copy and paste your minecraft map into the minecraft save folder
Step 4: start minecraft
After you copied your minecraft map folder into your minecraft saves folder, start minecraft ➡ choose single player ➡ and then search the name of your minecraft map
