Ladies and gentlemen, we are reaching to the point where competing is an impossible task for anyone to do. Basically big tech companies like Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Google is the reason why we can’t have fair competition. Now to be fair, Microsoft isn’t going back to its old days anymore, there’s some complaint filed against Microsoft. The reason was, is that Microsoft is going back to its old tricks again by bundling softwares to gain an unfair advantage. But that was just a minor action and the only company who complained was only slack.
Nowadays, Microsoft, one of the mighty tech giants has taken a break from its aggressive tactics. Why? you may ask? Well it’s simple….. It’s because they want to avoid another legal action against the department of Justice. Currently those four big tech companies (Google, Amazon, Facebook, and apple) us under investigation. Not only that but they have monopolized + spying on users the industry for a very long time.
You might say “oh don’t be silly! All you have to do in order for you to not be spied is to not use their services/products”. Well here’s the thing, they spy on you even if you don’t use their service or even their products. Google have bought credit card company for a very long time meaning that every single things you’ve purchased will be stored in a data and sent to Google’s server so they can offer you ads that matched your purchase.
Not only that, but the worst of all is that even if you set your phone to airplane mode, Google can Still track you down no matter what. The reason is that Google has set up multiple towers that beam signals to all of their phones and devices so that they can still collect data on you.
Note: this kinds of stuff will happen to you if you live on USA. There is a limit on how much Google can collect from you. So if you live outside of US then you should be fine
Amazon, on the other hand is far more evil. Amazon was a company that was known for bankrupting multiple start up companies. They literary sucked change of success out of every single living start ups out there. Don’t even get me stated on Facebook. Facebook was the grandaddy of spying, in fact they invented an easier method of spying users. Facebook pixel. Facebook pixel is a 1×1 pixel that can be placed anywhere on a website. Any users can’t spot this pixel because it is only 1×1 meaning that it is extremely tiny. The way it works is that by placing these things on let’s just say a social media buttons, these things are able to track user’s IP, what are they currently interested in, and what interactions they’ve made.
Apple is your typical average. While yes the company does bad stuff like copyright striking innocent start-up companies under the most absurd reason, at least we can all agree that Apple isn’t a complete spy hog when it comes to user data management.
